Pianist Neslihan Schmidt and electronics player Korhan Erel are a newly formed duo who have set out to develop a repertoire of structured improvisations and covers of contemporary pieces, living side by side. This will be their debut concert of structured improvisations and loosely organized music.

Neslihan Schmidt is a Berlin-based pianist, educator, composer, and improviser of contemporary music.

She was born and raised in Istanbul. She completed her studies as a concert pianist at the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan University and at the Hochschule für Musik Saar, where she received a scholarship from the University of Saarbrücken due to her exceptional achievements.
Since 1999, concerts and performances in Germany and Turkey.

Neslihan Schmidt regularly accompanies projects with Sasha Waltz & Guests, and she became an integral part of the pedagogical concept of the Kinder- und JugendTanzCompany SW&G.

Additionally, she composes for numerous dance projects and for prepared piano.
Her artistic work is characterized by her interest in improvisation as solo prepared piano and cooperation with various sound artists.

Korhan Erel is an electronic musician, improviser, composer, and sound artist based in Berlin. Erel’s music covers free improvisation, conceptual sound performances, as well as structured and composed pieces, music for contemporary dance, theater, and video art. Erel performs solo, duo and group performances with musicians, dancers, in ensembles, and orchestras. They have shown audiovisual and sound installations in Germany, Hong Kong, and Turkey.

Their music practice evolves around creating narratives with recorded, synthesized, and found sounds, where the narratives may come from literature, daily life, and even business life, such as their latest composition "7 Habits of Highly Miserable People".

Besides many digital releases, Korhan has twelve CD and LP releases on ECM Records, Umland Records, FMR, Gruenrekorder, Evil Rabbit Records, Creative Sources Records, A.K. Müzik, Müzik Hayvanı, and Kukuruku Recordings.

Only With You is the collaborative project of Korhan Erel and Eliad Wagner, two composers/performers in the field of experimental electronic music. Brought together by a shared curiosity about sonic iconography, the duo approaches instruments and technology not just as tools for expression, but as spaces where meaning is actively shaped and discovered. Each iteration of the project engages with specific instruments and interfaces that seem to have attached meanings, as Erel and Wagner navigate the intersections of composition, improvisation, and sonic exploration.
