Schon seit dem Jahr 2007 gibt es diesen Wettbewerb im Rauschgold 

„Ein Lied für den Mehringdamm – der Rauschgold-Grand-Prix“. 

Acht Kandidat:innen treten mit einem Song aus dem Repertoire des ESC gegeneinander an und kämpfen um den Pokal. 

Abgestimmt wird von einer Jury, den anwesenden Gästen und einem Onlinevoting durch einen Stream. Wie beim richtigen Grand-Prix.
