Nelum Kuluna (Tentigo), a groundbreaking black comedy from Sri Lanka, has resonated with audiences beyond Sri Lanka's borders with its bold and satirical exploration of social norms.

It is the first Sri Lankan film to be remade into multiple languages, including Spanish, Italian, English, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam, and French and Belgian versions are also reportedly in the works.

The film's success is not limited to remakes. It has received widespread acclaim at international film festivals and won the Special Jury Prize at the 2023 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
